Error Number: 0x800C0133 = a corrupt Inbox.

Transfer any mail you want to conserve to a local folder you produce. Then delete the problem Inbox as follows.

InstrumentsChoicesUpkeepShop Folder will reveal the place of your Outlook Express files. Write the location down and navigate to it in Windows Explorer or, duplicate and paste it into Beginallow Show Hidden Files and Folders under BeginChoicesshut, find the Inbox.dbx and delete it. A new one will be created instantly when you open OE.

General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the Inbox or Sent Items. Create your own user defined folders and transfer the messages you wish to conserve to them. Empty Deleted Items folder daily. Although dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2GB, I recommend about a 300MB max for less chance of corruption.

After you are done, follow up by compacting your folders manually while working *offline* and do it often.

Simply click on Outlook Express at the top for thecure please follow these steps:

Open OE, on the left pane, right click "Local Folders", select "New Folder...", specify a name for your new folder as "Temp".
If you are still able to access "Inbox", move all mails in "Inbox" to the new "Temp" folder.
Go to menu "Tools" -> "Options" -> "Maintenance" tab -> "Store Folder" button. It will show the place of your Inbox file, please remember this location.
Close OE, go to the location mentioned above, delete the file "inbox.dbx".
Restart OE, the "Inbox" folder should be auto recreated. Transfer back your mails to the new "Inbox", remove the "Temp" folder.
